Acquisition analytics
2018 · Data · ML
A doubling acquisition, with no way to value it
Challenge
A small oil & gas company had a chance to more than double its operations through an acquisition — but lacked the analytics to understand what it was actually buying.
Solution
We built a data-aggregation system that pulled the target's scattered legacy data together, then used statistical analysis, visualization, and machine learning to turn it into a clear picture — so leadership could make the call on evidence, not instinct.
Compliance training
2019 · Custom platform
A field workforce that couldn't get to training
Challenge
An oil & gas service provider risked missing a critical industry certification — its people were scattered across many states in the field, unable to attend regular safety training.
Solution
We built a custom online training platform that let crews close out their monthly training requirements remotely. The company completed the certification and won significant new business on the strength of it.
Systems modernization
2020 · ERP · Integration
A multi-site operation run on out-of-date systems and spreadsheets
Challenge
A heavy equipment, construction, and industrial marine company was running on aging systems and spreadsheets across sites in multiple regions and countries.
Solution
We helped them select the right management software, then oversaw configuration, integration with equipment-telemetry and accounting systems, and deployment across all their sites.
Product traceability
2021 · Architecture · Change mgmt
Recalls that reached further than they had to
Challenge
An international bottling company could only trace products to the batch level — making any recall far broader than consumer-safety compliance required. We partnered with another consulting team; our part was systems analysis, architecture, and change management.
Solution
The new system tracks products down to the individual case, keeping recalls tightly scoped. Rolled out across two plants in the US, one in Ireland, and three in Scotland.
Custom WMS
2022 · WMS · Automation
A warehouse that couldn't trust its own inventory
Challenge
A Midwest freezer warehouse ran on an aging on-prem system plagued by inaccurate inventory and stability problems.
Solution
We oversaw the build of a custom warehouse management system and planned its integration with warehouse-automation systems. The new system deployed and improved operational efficiency.
Ticket prioritization
2023 · AI
Service requests coming in faster than the team could triage them
Challenge
Service request tickets arrived faster than the team could triage them, and the urgent ones could sit unseen behind the routine.
Solution
We built a system that scores and routes each service request by priority, so the ones that matter reach the right person first — not whatever landed most recently. The same approach has since proven out on larger systems.
Business intelligence
2024 · Data · ML
Running the business blind, with no analytics at all
Challenge
No analytics, no single source of truth — no clear view of what was happening or what was coming. Decisions came down to instinct.
Solution
We built the data foundation from the ground up: a database to bring their data together, a dashboard that shows what's happening now, and predictive analytics that forecast what's coming — all in one place. They run on numbers now, not guesswork.
Agent onboarding
2025 · Custom app · RAG
The owner was the only one who could train new hires
Challenge
A broker spent most of his week training new agents by hand. His time was the bottleneck the whole business waited on.
Solution
Built an onboarding app in his own style — his training videos, an assistant that answers straight from the providers' docs and his own playbook, one-click provider logins, and a leaderboard that tracks training and early sales. New agents ramp themselves; he got his week back.
Revenue attribution
2026 · Ad spend · ML
Paying for clicks that never became sales
Challenge
Ad platforms optimize for clicks — because clicks are what they sell. The spend and the revenue lived in two different worlds.
Solution
Joined ad data to CRM data and used machine learning to rank keywords by revenue, not clicks. Now the budget follows what actually sells.
